Flower advice

BACK TO ALL POSTS

So you’ve decided you want flowers as part of your wedding day – fabulous choice. You may be working with a variety of suppliers that all have different processes, and whilst extremely exciting, it can get a little overwhelming sometimes.

Please know that this feeling is completely normal, especially if you’re also juggling a full-time job and everything else going on in your life at the same time. Here are some wedding flower planning tips to help you enjoy the process and get the best wedding flowers possible.

Wedding flower planning tips No.1:
Getting in touch

When a lovely new couple gets in touch with me for the first time, I set out to make the process as clear, fun, and inspiring as possible. Here are some things that you can expect from me:

  1. Clear communication: You’ll always receive a reply from me within 24 hours, most often, sooner.
  2. Honesty: I get straight into the budget side of things right away – I’ll always be honest with you with what your money can get you.
  3. Detailed advice based on experience: If your budget does not cover what you’re looking for, I will always provide gorgeous recommendations as alternative designs based on your vision, your venue, and your style. We’ll continue to work on it until you are both completely satisfied
  4. And finally… a friendly face! Your wedding day happiness is my priority, and I adore what I do. I’m always here if you need advice, guidance and opinions – when I say I’m ridiculously excited for your wedding, I mean it!

The Process

Staying true to the promise of clear communication, here’s how the process works working together on your dream wedding flowers:

  1. You submit an enquiry via my Contact page: thank you! You’ll receive a quick automated email from me that explains that I have received your enquiry and I am checking to see if your date is available.
  2. Confirmation your date is available: I will contact you within 12 hours of your initial enquiry to advise on the above.
  3. Google Design Q&A: The fun begins! I will send you an interactive Design Q&A via email which takes no longer than ten minutes to complete containing questions on exactly what you’re looking for, your budget, and information on your colour palette.
  4. Quick quote: Once I receive your Design Q&A, I will send you a quick budget breakdown that details exactly how much it will cost to have everything you desire. I’ll be completely honest with you – sometimes it can be over budget, sometimes we find it can be under.
  5. Zoom consultation scheduling: We’ll then schedule 45 minutes into the diary within a week of your initial enquiry to discuss your quick quotation, and how the budget squares up to the items required. During our chat, I’ll provide recommendations on how to best use your budget, we’ll get to know each other, and hopefully, we’ll hit it off right away!
  6. Consideration: I’ll then hold your date for seven days whilst you mull it over, I’ll always be here for any additional questions in the meantime to help you decide if you’d like to move forward.
  7. Dotting the ‘i’s and crossing the ‘t’s – Hopefully, by now we’ll be well acquainted and I’ve done everything I can to make you feel reassured. All that’s left to do is for us both to sign a Terms & Conditions contract and to secure your date with a 20% deposit, and that’s it!

What happens next?

This isn’t the point where I wave you off into the sunset whilst shouting ‘see you at the wedding!’. Absolutely not. I am here for you at every point every day up until the big day.

Want to run something by me? Awesome, send it my way. Have an idea but not sure if it’ll work? Tell me, and we’ll hash out the details to see if it is viable. There is nothing I love more than anything wedding-related, and it’s extra special because it is your wedding.

There is no pressure on how much you would like to be in contact between the date of booking and the date of your wedding – every couple is different, and there are no set rules. Regardless, I will connect with you both two months before the big day to discuss any final amendments required, and provide you with a new quotation if needed.

I hope this helps in making the whole process of navigating wedding flowers with Bloominati Florals a little clearer. I’m here to address any questions that you have surrounding wedding flowers and to make the journey as enjoyable as possible.

If you’d like to get in touch to discuss your requirements, just send me an enquiry via my Contact page and  have a nosey at what I’m up to on Instagram. I can’t wait to hear from you.
