Contemporary tropical meets quintessential English countryside at Firle Place for Angelica and Marc’s wonderfully personal wedding day, a celebration of two cultures, bold colour and their own individual style.

As a Sussex wedding florist, we loved creating a floral design that felt completely at home within the timeless setting of Firle Place, while still bringing something unexpected to the day. Angelica’s bridal party brought the colour, with vibrant, tropical-inspired bouquets full of personality, a nod to the colourful side of her Fillipino background, while the ceremony and wedding breakfast spaces took a more refined and timeless tropical direction with chic white and green artisan florals.

The contrast worked beautifully against the historic architecture and elegant interiors of this iconic Sussex wedding venue. Rather than creating a wedding where every floral detail matched perfectly, we allowed each part of the day to have its own character while still feeling beautifully connected.

And that’s exactly what we loved about creating these wedding flowers for Firle Place. There were no rules to follow and no need to make everything look the same. Every floral decision was made with Angelica and Marc in mind, creating a wedding that felt like a true reflection of the couple themselves; joyful, stylish, full of personality and completely their own.
