Courtyard ceremony at Flint Barns

For warmer months, the courtyard at Rathfinny Flint Barns is the perfect romantic setting for couples to get married in Cradle valley.

There are so many ways to enhance this space with romantic wedding flowers and decorations to put your unique stamp on your wedding day. Karen and Chris opted for statement flowers at the head of their aisle to act as a backdrop for their ceremony space.

Flowers for a rustic barn wedding

A broken archway is a great choice for couples as it can be used to frame several key areas, and is easily moveable so it can be used again in your Wedding Breakfast and reception space.

We spent a year planning with the lovely couple to ensure wedding flowers played a key role in transforming the space and the vibe they wanted to set for their wedding day.

The wedding colour palette consisted of fresh whites, the palest blush and a touch of buttermilk, and included the most luxurious Garden Roses, Delphiniums, Summer Cosmos and Lisianthus in the recipe.

Flowers for banquet tables at a rustic barn

To match the relaxed, social atmosphere, Karen and Chris opted for long banquet tables with sharing food platters for guests to enjoy, so it was important to choose flowers that did not obstruct the space.

Clustered bud vases full of beautiful Summer flowers were chosen to span each table and provide a floral touch between the platters, allowing flowers to remain a cohesive element across the whole wedding day.

RATHFINNY FLINT BARNS TESTIMONIAL

“Gemma designed the flowers for our recent wedding, and we were so pleased with the results. Gemma helped every step of the way providing mood boards and suggestions for the best configuration and where we could reuse arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble and I knew that I could leave everything in Gemma’s capable hands on the day of the wedding. Gemma cares so much about her clients and ensuring the right results, after the wedding, there is even a tinge of sadness that you won’t be in contact anymore. Thanks, Gemma so much for the beautiful flowers and bouquets!”
