Given that you’ve made your way here to my floral corner of the internet, I’m going to take a guess and say you’re probably planning a unique wedding guest experience is one of your top priorities.
My couples often tell me they want to give their loved ones the most wonderful time at their wedding, and I always tell them we can achieve so much of this by looking at the question through the lens of their florals.
Flowers transform spaces, create enchanted wonderlands, make gorgeous living gifts, and have the ability to elevate your wedding to a memorable, cohesive experience to be treasured. Stay with me as I explore the different ways we can enhance your wedding guest experience on your special day through the power of the flower.
It’s human nature to want to get lost in something, whether that’s a gripping series, a department store or some sort of live entertainment like the theatre or an immersive cinema experience. Once you start thinking about your wedding in these terms, about creating a little world for your loved ones to enter and enjoy, you begin to craft their experience.
One of the reasons everyone loves weddings so much is because they’re special, they’re out of the ordinary, they’re a chance to escape normality and indulge in luxury for a day – the new outfit, the glass of bubbles, the rooms full of joy…you already have the winning formula, but I can help you take it one step further through your floral design.
There is literature and art and music going back centuries that celebrate flowers, and I believe it’s because of their ability to transport and immerse us in our very own little stories. Together, we can create a story for your wedding day through your flowers, and this is the basis of every relationship I have with every couple and the foundation for their design.

Once we’ve begun crafting your immersive story to give your guests an amazing experience at your wedding, we can think about where florals can be used to guide the flow of the day. I’ll spend time talking with you about your timeline and how you and your loved ones will move through spaces, and consider how we can make this seamless with beautiful blooms.
Intentional design placement in your dream wedding venue can physically influence and guide where your guests will walk without them even realising it; rooms containing your wedding flowers draw them in, while spaces left deliberately bare deter.
We can create walkways and tempting entrances, aisles and invitations, staircases and doorways – all of which improve your wedding guest experience by ensuring they’re never left guessing about where to go or what happens next.
Everyone loves getting gifts, and I believe that most people love giving them too. I love the feeling of seeing a friends face light up having opened something that shows them that they’ve been considered and thought of.
Your guests’ experience can be elevated in a small, simple way, by allowing them to take home some of your flowers at the end of the night. Every bloom I bring for your wedding is yours for its whole lifespan, and what better little memento for your nearest and dearest than a sample of the flowers that decorated your day?
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes of what that process looked like at Abi & Jack’s LIMEKILN Sussex wedding at 9.45pm when guests moved into the Green Room to dance the night away. These bouquets were then left on the concrete table in the Courtyard for guests to collect on their way home, whilst larger vase centrepieces were transferred into plastic dishes to take home as a whole.

This collaborative approach helps improve your wedding guests’ experience by adding to that wonderful immersive atmosphere we mentioned earlier – when no element jars with another and everything feels like one, holistic design, there’s nothing to pull your loved ones out of the experience.

If you’d love to work with a florist who cares about your wedding guest experience as much as you do, and wants everyone present to have a memorable, magical experience, you’re in the right place.

Lover of baked goods, scented candles, ASOS and the theatre. When I’m not planning gorgeous wedding flowers for my beautiful couples, I’m doting on my little rescue dog, attending a gig, eating pizza or I’m glued to my laptop working when I should probably be relaxing because I absolutely love what I do.
